We are North Florida's premier Anodizing facility. Through our experience and capacity we are able to offer some of the fastest turnaround
in the industry. We offer next day service, when needed, with a two to five day turn around being standard. We provide fast delivery and quality service
of Type II or SAA ( Sulfuric Acid Anodize) Anodizing. Our anodizing meets Mil-A-8625 specification.
Anodize processing can only be applied to aluminum alloys. Although most aluminum alloys can be processed, those with a low copper content (less than
3.5%) and a low silicon content (less than 5%) are recommended. The best results occur on 6061, 6063 and 7075 wrought alloys; 355, 356 cast alloys and
319 die cast alloys.

Anodizing provides the following performance attributes for your parts:
- Wear Resistance
- Lubricity
- Dielectric Properties
- Heat Dissipation
- Corrosion
Resistance
- Bonding
- Aesthetics, ideal for producing intense colors
Type II Anodizing has superb dielectric strength, good abrasion resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance. It is mostly used for
decorative anodizing
as it lends itself to the dying of light and dark colors, depending on the coating thickness. Where a colorless film is important, as for ornamental purposes
or reflectors, Type II anodizing is used. There are some disadvantages to consider when contemplating the sulfuric acid process. The following types of
parts should be avoided due to the corrosion nature of sulfuric acid: assembled parts, parts containing welds, joints, and recesses in which the anodizing
solution may be retained.
Anodized aluminum is very compatible with
other metals due to its dielectric qualities. Aluminum oxide minimizes galvanic corrosion where aluminum touches other metals.
The final treatment of
clear or dyed anodized aluminum is sealing to close the pores of the aluminum oxide and render the coating non-absorptive. Sealing is accomplished by
immersion in deionized water containing nickel acetate then rinsing in boiling ionized water (water chemically distilled to a high degree of purity).
We offer pretreatment services of abrasive blasting, vibratory tumbling and previous finish stripping, to ensure a quality finish, when needed.
